Dear Tony, My grandfather Matthew Giordanella was honored as the Veteran of the Game on September 5th and I wanted to say what a completely wonderful experience it was. Veteran of the Game LLC was extremely professional and supportive in dealing with my grandfather and myself. From the first interaction, through all the communication and finally to the day of the event, Tony and his people were extremely helpful and very communicative. They were helpful in getting tickets for a total of 12 family members to the game that day!
The baseball team should be proud to be linked with an organization like this that honors our veterans and the sacrifices that they have made for our wonderful country.
My grandfather told me that day that “this is a day that will stand out in his life and he will always remember it”. This coming from a man who served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. I would like to thank Tony and his staff for everything that they do to put such a nice product on the field at home games and look forward to watching veterans honored for years to come!
Sincerely and Respectfully,
Dear Tony,
Thanks to your program and all the kind people that helped organize the day, I was able to give my 93 year old dad a wonderful memory. My dad’s three grandchildren saw him honored for his service. The entire day was wonderful and my Dad enjoyed being at another baseball game with us.
Thank you for everything you did to make this happen.
I wanted to take this opportunity and thank you all for an amazing time our family had at the game. My husband felt so honored and thankful to be there – especially at this platform . He is a life long HUGE fan, so this was absolute dream come true. Starting off with the amazing dinner at Hard Rock, the manager Chris was so welcoming, our waitress Crystal was such a pleasure. All of you behind the scenes who made this possible – heartfelt THANK YOU! Our kids who are 12 & 7 had the BEST time which was definitely icing on the cake – when we left they wanted to know when would be the next time we can do this…so you know this was a hit 😉 Again, thank you all. This was a night our family will cherish & never forget.
Dear Tony, As a former Bronxite and life-long fan, my family and I would like to thank you for the respect you bestowed on me, honoring me as Veteran of the Game on Sunday, Sept. 11th, 2022.” Sheldon Wasserman WWII Veteran. I would like to add: What an honor and thrill for my dad! Aside from his honorable service to country and city, my dad is a dedicated fan, rarely missing a game on radio/tv. Some of my earliest memories are of watching baseball with my dad, I basically grew up wearing pinstripes. It was just so incredibly amazing for my sister and I to share this exciting experience with him!
Just wanted to reach out to Tony Veteran of the Game LLC and Craig to thank you for providing my family and friends the opportunity to honor my mother. Seats and parking were great. Was worried when the game was to be aired on Amazon TV and not YES but the ceremony was shown in its entirety. My cell phone blew up with calls and messages from people who saw it and had no idea it was going to happen. Thank you both again It was an amazing experience.”
